HDD Scan Removal Guide
HDD Scan is a fake defragmenter program that try to defrag the hard drive of the computer and will DEFINITELY state that there are many errors in hard drive and system. HDD Scan will start automatically when Windows boot. Then HDD Scan will do a fake scan on the hard drive, memory and system. HDD Scan will give fake report and urge the user to purchase the full version of HDD Scan. HDD Scan cannot repair any hard drive and cannot detect any error of hard drive, system and memory.

HDD Scan is just a SCAM. It can be removed by stopping all processes from random name([random].exe), delete all the related files ([random].*) and registry entry stated in the removal guide below.

HDD Scan should be removed immediately!

Kill Process

Unregister DLL files
%Temp%\[RANDOM].dll

Delete Registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "[RANDOM].exe"
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "[RANDOM]"

Remove Folders and Files
%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\HDD Scan
%UserProfile%\Desktop\HDD Control.lnk
%Temp%\[RANDOM].dll
%Temp%\[RANDOM].exe
%Temp%\[RANDOM]
%Temp%\dfrgr
%Temp%\dfrg
